In my world, we’re now at the mid-point of summer. It feels like time is just flying by. I’m very thankful to be healthy and active this summer. However, that also means that I’ve been scrapbooking and cooking less than I did last year. I just can’t have it both ways!
It’s the first Friday of a new month, which also means it’s Team A’s turn at ScrapMuch?! And of course, that also means our sketch this week is a two pager!
And here is my take on the sketch:
Supplies used: Cardstock-American Crafts; Patterned Paper-Heidi Swapp, Simple Stories; Transparency-Hambly, Little Yellow Bicycle; Ribbon-Stampin’ UP!; Sequins-Teresa Collins; Washi-My Mind’s Eye; Buttons-Doodlebug; Twine-Jillibean Soup; Ink-Tim Holtz Distress; Title-Silhouette Cameo; Journaling Marker-Stampin’ UP!; Mist-Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist; Card, Tags, Stickers-Simple Stories; Flair-American Crafts.
Since I have an abundance of sunny beach photos from so many vacations, I was really excited to scrapbook a summery theme. Let’s face it, in paradise it’s summer every day! It goes without saying I LOVE using my stash and having it all come together so serendipitously!
It’s a long weekend here in Ontario and I’ll be doing a mix of working and spending time with my Dad. I hope to sneak in a little crafty time too on Sunday night!
Now it’s your turn. Pop on over to ScrapMuch?! to see what the rest of the team has created. Now is a great time to visit, maybe play with this sketch, maybe give the colour challenge a try, maybe even combine both! Of course, as per usual, you have until the end of the month to linkup and share your creations with us for the chance to win an awesome ScrapMuch?! prize! I can’t wait to see what you create!
“Here is a run down of our Sketch-y Friday rules. Just link up your creations in our sidebar to be entered into a random draw for our monthly prize. You have until Friday August29th, at midnight to participate in any of August’s sketch challenges, each linkup tool will remain open until that date!
If you are playing along with more than one challenge you will need to link each of them up via a separate blog post for the link up tool to work. (International participants may be required to pay some shipping fees.) Good luck, we cannot wait to see what you create!”
Have a great weekend!
