The Simple Woman’s Daybook

It’s a new week, a new month and as good a time as any to pick this back
up again…

FOR TODAY

Outside my window…
I see a lot of leaves on the ground. It’s been so windy lately that there aren’t many leaves at all left on the trees.

I am t
hinking…
It’s far too cold too early. It was -3C in my car this morning when I was driving to work.

I am thankful for…
Good friends, warm blankets, sunshine on cool days, great coffee in my mug.

From the kitchen…
I made amazing black bean and veggie chili yesterday. Tonight I’ll be having dinner alone so I’m fairly certain it will be a Weight Watchers Smart Ones entree.

I am wearing…
My spiffy work uniform.

I am creating…
Nothing today. I tried to work on my final Creative Escape project this
weekend but the idea book seems to be MIA so I’ll need to find the book before I can complete the project.

I am going…
Nowhere special today.

I am reading…
Again, very little. I may tackle book 2 in the Sookie Stackhouse series soon.

I am hoping…
A phone call I should make soon goes well.

I am hearing…
The crazy loud furnace at this station.

Around the house…
I need to finish the laundry and finish cleaning the main floor. I got most of it done yesterday, but I’d really like it all done.

One of my favorite things…
Heated seats in my car. They totally made my drive in
to work so much more comfortable this chilly morning.

A few plans for the rest of the week…
Looking at some fall/winter decor items for the home, may try out new gym near to home, should really return laptop sleeve I bought in August that I don’t really like and has never been used.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing…
Last day on the beach in Puerto Vallarta October 16 2010.
